The Goyesca 2018 it's a very special edition of Bodegas Altos del Enebro, in the D.O. Ribera del Duero. It is born from a meticulous selection of old vines—between 60 and 80 years old—located on soils of great diversity, with a predominance of rounded stones, which allows for a complex and differentiated expression of the terroir.
Grapes, from varieties such as Tempranillo, Grenache and other ancestral grape varieties, are harvested manually, with each bunch cared for from the vineyard. In the winery, a significant proportion of whole clusters are used, fermenting spontaneously in stainless steel tanks with long macerations, allowing for precise and elegant extraction.
The breeding is done during 18 months in fine-grain French oak barrels from prestigious cooperages, in optimal temperature and humidity conditions, with periodic rackings that refine the wine without losing its vibrant character.
La Goyesca represents a more sensitive and artisanal vision of Ribera del Duero, committed to production that respects the grape and its environment. It is a wine with its own identity, born to last.
