This wine is the result of a very special collaboration between Matías Riccitelli and his father, Jorge Riccitelli —a fusion of generations, styles, and experience that celebrates Argentine winemaking tradition from a contemporary perspective. “Riccitelli & Father” is not only a family tribute but also an authentic expression of the calcareous soils of Gualtallary, one of the most outstanding areas of the Uco Valley.
The production of this wine focuses on respect for the fruit and the environment.. Las uvas provienen de viñedos de altura, donde el clima fresco y los suelos pedregosos aportan intensidad aromática y gran estructura. La fermentación se realiza en pequeñas cubas de hormigón con levaduras indígenas, preservando la pureza varietal y la expresión del terroir. Un 20% de los racimos se vinifica con escobajo para aportar tensión y frescura. La crianza se lleva a cabo durante 16 months in large French oak foudres, which adds complexity without overpowering the fruity character.
