VISTA: Present a Deep violet with purplish highlights dark, very typical of high-altitude Malbec. Clean and bright, with a dense tear that announces good concentration.

NOSE: Aromatically expressive and elegant. Intense notes of Ripe dark fruits like plums, blackberries, and black cherries, accompanied by floral touches of violets typical of the variety in high-altitude areas. The subtle aging in French oak adds layers of cacao, soft vanilla, and a subtle smoky undertone.

BOCA: In the mouth it is Dry, medium to full-bodied, with fine, well-integrated tannins. The acidity is refreshing and provides liveliness, balancing the fruit's ripeness. Flavors of fresh black fruit, with spicy notes and a long finish where memories of chocolate and Andean herbs reappear. Long, persistent, and harmonious finish. A Malbec that combines power and elegance, with a clear expression of the high-altitude terroir.

  • Beef tatakiThe juicy texture and truffle notes are enhanced by the ripe fruit and firm tannins of the wine.

  • OxtailThe concentration of the dish accompanies the wine's depth and its persistent finish.

  • Vacuum BriocheThe fatty, unctuous point of the skirt steak finds an ideal counterpoint in the balanced acidity of the Malbec.

  • Grilled MeatsA foolproof classic, where meat and wine enhance each other.

  • SweetbreadsThe toasted gizzard and its crispy texture pair perfectly with the wine's moderate aging.

  • Aged or semi-aged cheeseslike a cheese board or baked provolone, which highlight the wine's fruity profile without overpowering it.
  • Cod RavioliA surprising combination where the texture of the ravioli and the wine's floral profile create contrast and balance.

  • Beef empanadatraditional and juicy flavors that complement the black fruit of Malbec and its spicy finish.

From the heights of the Calchaquí Valleys, in the prestigious area of Yacochuya Norte, this Malbec is born, reflecting the soul of the Salta terroir. Cultivated at 2,000 meters above sea level, in soils gravelly sand, with Drip irrigation with meltwater and driving High backrest, this wine expresses the intensity and elegance characteristic of high-altitude vineyards.

The harvest is done manually, in small 20 kg boxes, in early April, with a controlled yield of 80 cwt/acre and a density of 3,700 plants per hectare. Winemaking takes place in concrete piles, with native yeasts, fermenting between 23 and 26 ºC for 15 days, followed by an extended maceration of 25 days. The wine then undergoes malolactic fermentation naturally, lending softness and roundness.

One 30% of wine mature during 8 months in second-use French oak barrels, respecting the fruity and authentic character of the Malbec without overloading it with oak. The result is a wine of great varietal expression, produced in a limited edition of 40,000 bottles per year.

A high-altitude Malbec, authentic, intense, and elegant.
