COLORIntense ruby with a violet rim, brilliant and deep. It shows a high layer and good density in the glass, anticipating its structure.
NOSEAromatic complexity and elegance. Ripe black fruit notes such as plum, blackberry, and blueberry are perceived, accompanied by balsamic touches, licorice, and a spicy background of vanilla, cocoa, and clove, from aging in French and American oak. With time in the glass, mineral nuances and a subtle hint of damp earth emerge.
MouthWith a silky yet powerful entry. Polished, ripe tannins that coat the palate without aggression. It shows balance between fruit, acidity, and wood, with excellent persistence. The finish is long, deep, and leaves a lingering impression of ripe fruit and sweet spices.

Aalto 2022 it is a wine made 100% with grapes Tinto Fino (Tempranillo), from very old vineyards—between 40 and 80 years old—cultivated in nine municipalities in the Ribera del Duero, in both the Burgos and Valladolid banks. They are selected plots that provide depth, structure, and a unique identity to each vintage.
The harvest took place manually in early September, in small 15 kg boxes, with a rigorous selection of grape clusters on a sorting table. This meticulous attention ensures that only the highest quality fruit is used in the wine.
The 2022 vintage was marked by an extreme climate cycle. A dry and cold winter, with intense frosts and scarce rainfall, gave way to a cool spring that delayed bud break, allowing us to avoid frosts. The summer was one of the hottest on record, with several heat waves and a complete absence of rainfall, which resulted in Concentrated, healthy grapes with great ripeness.
The wine is aged for 16 months in French and American oak barrels, where its elegant character develops, with a perfect balance between ripe fruit, polished tannins, and subtle notes of wood.
